One mile for one book. That's a great deal of books read by the kids. This is a cool concept/project for the kids to do. It promotes reading and sets a goal for the kids to achieve by end of the year. I would have made it 10 miles/book.
Kids just love challenges and to figure out how they can learn through a challenge. The map is a good way to picture it all coming together. Good job, Pam!

LOVE the visual! What a great idea to have the kids all working toward a common goal.
What a GREAT visual! This sends home the message so clearly and what could be more important than promoting literacy across our nation?!
